The Trump administration is reportedly considering imposing a $100,000 fee on international students who want to work in the United States after graduating from a U.S. university through the Optional Practical Training program, commonly known as OPT.

If adopted, the policy could dramatically reduce the practical value of OPT and make studying in the United States much less attractive to international students.
